Master, Master
What is the sound of that
Baying, Baying
Your hounds have just captured my
White Deer, White Deer
Know you the price of such
Poaching? Poaching...
Your life is now forfeit!
Within the reach of mighty Arawn you will tread
And now you will come to the Land of the Dead...
Master, Master
Spare now the fate of your
Friend King, Friend King
Who means you no harm but is
Worthy, Worthy
To take up a quest of your
Pleasing, Pleasing
Let deed beat back death...
Into your hands I commend my noble Kingdom -
Take by one strike the life of my foe...
Ways made of wandering
Days dreamt in dawning
Echoes of life
Winds made of warping
Dark shadows clawing
Wanderers in time
Fly through the mind-way
Break through to fine day
Marvels abound
Gates made of wonder
In earth-tide no longer
The Otherworld is found
Wonders, Wonders
Wonders of myth and of
Mystery, Mystery
This land is suffused with the
Magic, Magic
And all of its people live
Freely, Freely
In the Land of the Gods...
Of all your gifts, there is none which is the finest,
But spare now the sanctity of thy wife!
Fell day, Fell day
The day of the combat
Approaches, 'Proaches,
The onlookers pray for a
Fair fight, Fair fight
While I seek the death of this
Fell Wight, Fell Wight!
Let blood now be spilled -
Into your helm I compel my mortal broadsword
Take now the strike that will end your life!
Axe in the shieldwood
Spear where once foot stood
Circling in war
Crash of the titans
Flight of the adroit ones
Carnage and more
Call of the Crow King,
Clash of my blade sing -
Slice through the air
Now hear my name, dread;
"Pwyll Pendefig Dyfed"
Now you are dead!
Fade into memory...
Book-keepers tend me...
Let me not die...
Hear my heart's cry...
Fade into memory,
Book-keepers tend me -
Let me not die...
Sing of my victory
Let young ones reveal me
Hear my heart's cry...

Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker

If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse

So I can't leave a long enough review to say everything I want. But I will say this, I love this EP. It's a great little follow up to times, and has just enough of a dynamic shift in sound to prove that Smoulder isn't a one trick pony with their first album's formula. This one really plays up the 70s prog aspects (DUST and Manilla Road influences definitely shine through even harder here). It's still Smoulder, don't get me wrong. Just a different side in some ways, all of which are good. playfulpooka
