To the quest my whole life has been given
From my birth till my death
Seek the blade that's long been forgotten
Till I breathe my last breath
From my Father, a choice given me
In my heart burns the flame of a warrior
In my hand burnished steel
On the plains I ride wild with abandon
Deep in thrill of the kill
Still my calling carries me on
Onwards in search of unknown and arcane artefact
With power and purpose my duty I duly enact
Through the years I have claimed my fair share
Of the blood of my foes
Killed marauderers and despotic tyrants
Where I ride no-one knows
But my heart still beats true
Now I'm older, I've come to an ill place
Full of evil and pain
In the deep, there, the goal lies awaiting
Into the breach again!
Will my Fathers further my aim?
Slaughter the souls that have stolen my will and my world
Deliver them death now, their destiny deftly unfurled
There in the depths I espy the elusive and
Spectoral source of my suffering, the sight so long sought
So soon in my grasp, it awaits my appraisal
Again to my bloodline the bright burning blade shall be brought
And it's the dawn of another day
The blade is mine; the whole world's in my sway
